I had the pleasure to work for another editorial on AVENUE Magazine for my monthly column The Trendsetter.

The popularity of androgynous fashion is increasing as humans are becoming more accepting of each other’s sexual preferences, like a celebration of this progression.  Art and fashion are embracing the understanding that people should be accepted as humans and not strictly labeled based on their gender preferences.

My personal choice of presenting this theme through black and white photography is due to the feeling that the monochromatic style suits the ambiguous nature of androgyny.  These photos you will see here features a blend of futuristic clothing, unisex pieces and bob cuts that are suitable for both genders, and that de-emphasizes female body parts, in a vision of a modern dandy style.

I find myself liking more and more the simple details of fashion lately, so here is for you a very simple outfit that I’m enjoying wearing in this friday afternoon.

Elegant Summer

Hello my dear readers, today I’d like to show you some colorful gowns I really like.

My friend Sofia Corleone of CELESTINA’S WEDDINGS sent me four beautiful gowns that she recently made for Miss Mundo Virtual competition, and I feel spoiled by their simple and fresh elegance.I decided to show you today two of my favourite for this summer season, and I’m sure I will wear them soon at formal events.

Nouveau Klimt

I finally found some time to experiment some photoshop effects and I’m quite happy with the result.

This outfit and photo is inspired by Gustav Klimt, one of my all time favourite painters, and his amazing art.

I really love the texture of this simple mesh dress I found at Collabor88 by Nylon Outfitters, and I like the combination with some very artistic jewelry from Finesmith.

Friendship in Fashion

Hello guys, this is an unusual kind of post on this blog because it isn’t about an outfit (not only at least).

My dear friend Falbala Fairey pointed out some days ago that even if we are friends from quite some time now, we still didn’t have a photo together, so we decided it was about time :)

We  looked for inspiration and found something that we hope you will like as much as we do.

For those who don’t know Falbala, what can I say… She’s one of the most talented people I was lucky to meet in SL: a gorgeous model, creative stylist and amazing photographer, all wrapped into a wonderful young woman (or elf sometimes ;) ), and most of all a selfless and sweet friend.

In a (virtual) world where everybody seems happy to see others fail, to prevail, to compete, to create and spread drama… in this very self-centered fashion industry we live these days, few people show us that is possible to be sincere friends and that fashion can be also a way to enjoy friendship.

Thank you Falbala for showing me that there is always hope, and for being so special for me. <3
